Is reverse cycle air conditioning cheaper to run than gas heating?

For most Sydney homes, yes. A modern reverse cycle system produces several units of heat for every unit of electricity it uses, so it is usually cheaper to run than a gas heater, especially once you remove the gas supply charge or add solar.

Can I replace ducted gas heating with ducted reverse cycle?

Yes. In many homes we can reuse the location of the existing ducted gas unit and, where the ductwork is in good condition and suitably sized, some of the existing ducting. We’ll check this during the inspection.

What happens to my old gas heater?

Your old heater is removed as part of the job, so the space is ready for the new system.

Will reverse cycle keep my home warm in winter?

Yes. Correctly sized reverse cycle systems heat well in Sydney’s climate. Sizing is the key, which is why we inspect the home before quoting.
